Thanks for the heads up, Rick. I actually stumbled onto your site earlier today, and it looks to have a lot of useful information on it. Unfortunately I'm still coming up short on what I'm trying to do.
I'm currently working on a project that involves converting many thousands of pages of unstructured documentation into DITA. I'm supposed to receive a conversion table one of these days, but until then I'd like to automate the process of setting the routine attribute values on certain common DITA elements. For instance, I'd like to have a script I could run that would set the align attribute to "left" on all image elements in a document.
This thread came close to touching on what I'd like to do, but I can't tell where or how the attribute's element is specified in the script. I completed the Javascript course on codeacademy.com with little difficulty, but so far Extendscript has been killing me.
If anyone has any advice I'm all ears. Thanks!
